Green Belt Certification—Purpose
The Green Belt Certification is a representation of an individual's ability to put into practice the LEAN/Six Sigma tools studied in Green Belt training. The Certification will validate, through both Rutgers University and Lockheed Martin, the individual's contributions to the organization through their direct involvement in a cost saving project/event using the LEAN/Six Sigma philosophy and tools.

Eligibility
Applicants for LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification must:

• Have satisfactorily completed the Rutgers/Lockheed Green Belt Training Course within the past 18 months
• Be employed in an organization that is currently conducting LEAN/Six Sigma projects
• Be directly involved in the implementation, monitoring and measurement of an actual LEAN/Six Sigma project (past, present or future) at their place of employment, with a recommended net savings of $50,000 or more

(Applications will be considered for projects that have been documented and completed within the past 12 months.)

How to Apply
Applicants must complete submit the 1) Green Belt Certification Application Form, and mail in, along with the 2) required submission information and 3) payment.

Payment
Fee for a Green Belt Certification review is $625.00 ( US). Payment is required at the time of when submission of information to be evaluated is submitted.

Payment, along with application form and required information is to should be made payable to: "Rutgers University", and is to be mailed to: Rutgers University, Center for Management, 200 Federal Street, 4th Floor, Camden, NJ 08103.
