Rutgers IMED works with client companies on a one-to-one basis to create high-impact learning solutions that are tailored to the needs of each company. Whether an organization is facing new competition, shifting market conditions, increased customer demands, or other strategic challenges, a tailored program can be developed to strengthen the leadership capacity of managers and executives; both individually and as a team. Most of our training programs incorporate a varied instructional design including: simulations, exercises, videos, skill practices, checklists and games.

Learning Outcomes
Rutgers IMED custom programs add value in four distinct categories:

  • Critical Thinking:    Most thinking, left to itself, is usually biased, distorted, partial, and uninformed. Excellence in thought, however, must be systematically cultivated. Rutgers IMED builds each curriculum so critical thinking is discussed, exercised and encouraged. Participants will be encouraged to learn to value opinions, challenge assumptions, and solve problems creatively in the workplace.
  • Application: Rutgers IMED custom programs are designed, in cooperation with the client, to build specific, job-critical competencies and promote short term and long term positive behavior changes that lead to better job performance.
  • Communication Effectiveness: Enhancing professional and personal communication skill to enhance internal and external relationships is a foundation to business success. Our custom programs strive to help participants to understand the communication process, break through communication barriers, and be more effective as a leader/communicator within the organization.
